Enhance Fitness: Certified Senior Exercise Instructor
I want you to know how much I appreciate having Cathee Connor as my
instructor for [Senior Exercise] twice a week. There are a number
of aspects of her teaching that I particularly want to convey:
Her demeanor is always so encouraging; her method of teaching us dance
routines makes it fun to come to her classes; her choice of music is
lively enough to stimulate us to participate. I have personally
benefitted from her classes in the following areas: stamina, balance,
endurance, personal satisfaction/pride, [improved] body image, weight
loss, new friendships, learning to dance, really dance & enjoy it

At age 70 I retired due to severe aches & pains all over my body
& especially my back, Subsequently, I was diagnosed with
osteoarthritis & decided to join the Baptist Hospital [Senior]
Exercise Group. Well 9 months later I [was] stronger, happier
& practically pain free. Exercise has always been touted as being
beneficial to one’s health. Now I can attest t that as I am
living proof. Exercise can change you life! We have one of
the best instructors ever – Cathee! And she is dedicated to
improving our health, & makes exercise FUN while keeping us
motivated. I look forward to her classes & agonize if I have
to miss even one day. The social aspect of our sessions ---
spending time with peers & always meeting new people --- only adds
to our pleasure. So here I am, in good shape & high spirits
---adding Quality of Life to each & everyday!!!

… My husband & I attend the Senior Exercise Program
sponsored by Baptist Health South Florida. This class meets one hour
twice a week. Our instructor, Cathy Connor, is a cheerful, energy
charged person. She makes exercising fun. Participating in this class
has been a wonderful way to help strengthen our bodies and eliminate
stress. My husband has had three knee replacement surgeries and
has found the class to be very beneficial & uplifting when he is
able to attend.

Method Classes
The [HealthySteps]/Lebed method classes with Cathee as instructor has
made me realize that at my age 62 I could not be a couch potato any
longer. I love this class. I wish we had it everyday.
I feel alive & energetic. I noticed that I have less aches
& pains. I have recommended the class to several of my
friends.
