Jamaican-born Sandi Morais has been a fitness instructor for over twenty years. She is a graduate of Florida International University with a bachelor's degree and is a certified instructor with the International Fitness Professional Association. "The Lebed Method Focus on Healing Through Movement and Dance", is a therapeutic exercise program for women who have had any kind of breast surgery, node dissection, radiation, chemotherapy,or who suffer from chronic fatigue. Two physicians and a dance movement specialist created this program to help Breast Cancer Survivors live with a better quality of life. The program has now been expanded for many diagnoses and age groups such as seniors, MS, Parkinson, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia and many others, with great results for both men and women. Sherry Lebed-Davis is one of the foremost authorities on the use of movement for the healing and prevention of complications from breast cancer surgery and other related treatments.

This documentary reveals an intimate portrait of Sonia Baez-Hernandez's struggles and artistic response as a breast cancer survivor faced with the complexities of medical access, choices, gender crisis and the meaning of becoming a woman. Sonia includes interviews with cancer survivors Diana Solis, Tina Nava, Lucille Afua Gram and Catherine Connor to reveal their experiences with breast cancer. In 2006 this documentary was selected & nominated as Best Documentary by the 5th Annual Urban Film Festival, Atlanta, Georgia and in 2007 part of the official selection 5th Spaghetti Junction Urban Film Festival, Atlanta, Georgia.
